Overview

We have immediate openings for full-time Drivers responsible for the operation of a truck, dump truck, and heavy equipment (Track Hoe, Skid Steer) which includes driving to and from the job site, operation of the truck, dump truck and/or heavy equipment.

The driver will keep the equipment clean and in good operating condition. Because this is a highly competitive business, the hours worked will be irregular with many last-minute changes. A Driver has to be flexible to the needs of the Company and its customers. Part of this job requires manual labor.

Duties

• Ability to follow direction, self-manage, and make key decisions on the job
• Maintain excellent customer relations.
• Represent the Company through efficient work, courteous service and professional appearance.
• Travel to various job sites.
• Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule, accommodate long hours and overtime as required.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Heavy Equipment experience required but the Company will provide training as needed.
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical problems.
• Must have a clean driving record, valid Class A CDL (including air brake endorsement). Must be able to drive manual transmission.
• Must possess valid DOT medical card.
• Must have knowledge (or the ability to acquire knowledge) in GPS and take directions

Working Conditions and physical demands

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds to overhead position.
• Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess the ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must tolerate working environment with outside temperatures that include excessive heat, cold, wind, and precipitation.

General Laborer

Duties

• Performs tasks involving physical abilities, which require little or no specialized skill or previous work experience.
• Load & unload supplies and materials
• Moves supplies and materials to point of use on jobsite
• Cleans up refuse on jobsite
• Uses shovel, pick, rake, etc. to dig, fill, and level ground.
• Duties are many and varied.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

• Clean Driver's License
• Experience preferred but not required

Skid Steer Operator

Duties

• Proven experience operating skid steer machinery in excavation or related projects
• Ability to operate skid steer with precision and attention to detail to accomplish various excavation tasks, including final grade, and setting culverts.
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Work with the site supervisor to ensure work is executed according to site plans and specifications.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure safe and optimal functioning.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

• Proven experience
• Clean driver's license
• Class A CDL preferred
